A Case Of Alopecia

These pictures are of same person before and after medication. He had "alopecia areata". He was successfully cured by Dr.Sunil Sharma ( My Father, also a renowned homoeopathic practitoner). The cured case proves the efficacy of homoeopathy in such chronic ailments.

This person name A ( fictious name) is a 27 yr old businessman. He lost hair in patches  for which he took medication from many remowned dermatologists of this town and delhi also. But he got no satisfactory result. He used a product which contained "minoxidril" which gave him his hair back but after a week he again lost hair in patches. Then he came to our clinic. The significant points in the history were-
* Loss of hair in patches
*No desire to eat , food tastes bad
  Felt hungry but cuold not tolerate the smell of food
*Heartburn

*Bowel habit ; regular but unsatisfactory
*Past history- Accident -at the age of 12yrs -#humerus
* Family History - Mother : DM




The heatburn was not considerable in this case because the person used to have 10-12 cups of tea everyday.I adviced him to minimise it gradually.
1.Date- 22/11/10 -
I prescribed colocynth 1M
 followed by P/L /TDS/1month


2.Date- 24/12/10
No change in hair loss. No new growth.
Appetite improved , now 3-4 meals a day
stool - satisfactory, once daily, semisolid

I prescribed Colocynth 1M/3 doses / half hourly

P/L /QID/1 month

3.Date-28/1/11

New growth of hair started to appear.
He had cold since three days with running nose , A/F eating rich food in a weding and cold exposure
I prescribed Arsenic Alb 30 / 9 Doses /TDS

and adviced to stay away from dust and cold air.He reported me back after 5 days , he was all right as per him.
I perscribed Colocynth 1M/ one dose and S/L /30 doses/OD
